Project Manager / Engineer (Metalwork / Automotive Industry)

SANEC is an Australian Company with it’s Head Office in Brisbane Australia, and has been successfully building trade relations in China since 1992 Our main office in China is located in Shanghai.

 SANEC’s Primary role is to source high quality manufactured products usually manufactured to our clients specification, with some of our specialties noted below:

•  Metal Manufacturing          Cutting, bending, welding, assembly and painting.

• Heavy Automotive              Hydraulic hoses and fittings, electrical harnesses, metal cutting, bending, assembly and painting being a specialty.

• Plastic Products                 Industrial and also for retail sale, including product and packaging development.

• Building Materials              Structural Steel, Scaffold, and general building products.

• Furniture                              Custom joinery or standard furniture, both domestic and commercial.

 We are looking to employ an Engineer / Project Manager with at least 10 years experience in the metal industry, preferably with some experience in the heavy Automotive Industry. You will need to be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal in both English and Chinese.

 Your role would be primarily to liaise between the local manufacturer, SANEC’s management in both Shanghai and Australia, and in some instances directly with our clients. You will need to be conversant with manufacturing techniques, able to read drawings (AutoCAD experience would be an advantage) be experienced in establishing and maintaining Quality Assurance Systems.

The main project that you would be responsible for involves manufacturing of component parts used in the manufacturing of street sweeping machines, which will soon be fully assembled in China including the general installation of hydraulic lines and wiring harnesses. Other projects involve manufacturing of Aluminum Scaffold, and general products which will vary from tome to time.
